Because the dynamic changes. In a small group of women, something shifts. People ask the questions they'd otherwise keep to themselves. They try things they might hesitate to attempt in a mixed group. They talk to the local wine educator, the salsa instructor, the ceramic artist, differently.

Small groups of up to 10 women, one destination, one craft. Mornings are structured around the skill: wine, salsa, ceramics, cooking, art, golf. Afternoons are yours. We'll give you ideas based on what you want to see or do, but there's no agenda. Dinners are on your own account, but we'll have a table booked at some of the best restaurants in the city so you can explore the food scene together if you want to.

Most of our travellers come alone. That's actually how we have designed our Wanderphi trips. You don't need a travel companion to join. By day two, you won't feel like you're traveling solo anyway.
-
We don't screen by age. What our travelers have in common is energy, curiosity, and a genuine appetite for new experiences. Our trips involve real activity: salsa in Colombia, ebikes in the Winelands, walking through markets. If that sounds good to you, you'll fit right in.
-
Yes, always. Every trip is priced on single occupancy. You get your own room, no single supplement, no being matched with a stranger. If you're traveling with a friend and want to share, we can offer a discount, just ask.
-
We rate our trips on a scale of 1 to 4. Most Wanderphi trips sit at a 2, with some moments of 3 depending on the destination. Expect a reasonable amount of walking and days that keep you moving. You don't need to be an athlete, but you do need good mobility and the energy to show up.

We do everything we can to deliver what we've promised. Occasionally things outside our control, weather, local strikes (think France!), unexpected closures, mean we need to adapt. When that happens, we substitute at the same level of quality. We'll always tell you why.
-
Yes! Let us know when you book and we'll communicate your requirements to every restaurant and experience on the trip. That said, some restrictions may be difficult to accommodate depending on the destination and the craft. If you have complex dietary needs or severe allergies, reach out before booking so we can be honest about whether the trip is the right fit.

A 15% deposit is required to secure your spot and is non-refundable. The balance is due 3 months before departure and is non-refundable.
In the event that Wanderphi has to reschedule or cancel a trip, we'll give you three options: join us on the rescheduled trip, apply your payment toward a different Wanderphi trip, or receive a full refund.

We recommend waiting for trip confirmation before booking flights. Once confirmed, we'll give you plenty of notice to arrange travel.
