Golf keeps coming up. Client dinners, weekends, and conversations at work. I've taken a class in Scotland, played courses in South Africa and Dubai. But I never properly stopped and learned.

I went to a golf club recently and looked around. Almost no women. I'm not sure why: no iconic female Tiger Woods, no obvious entry point, no one making it feel like it's for you too. That felt worth correcting.

Vietnam made sense immediately. The courses are extraordinary: dramatic, set against mountains and coastline, some of the best in Asia. And the country rewards slowing down. The idea was simple: learn golf properly, somewhere worth going to, with women who feel exactly the same way."

What to Expect

Eight days in Vietnam, and you'll never turn down a round of golf again. Mornings on the course, properly coached, actually progressing. Afternoons are yours: the city, the coast, Hoi An, or nothing at all.

The Courses

Da Nang has some of the best courses in Asia, built by Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, and Luke Donald. Coastline, mountain backdrops, rice paddies in the distance. Wide, forgiving fairways that give you room to actually learn.

❋ The Group

Women-only, eight guests maximum. Small enough that you'll actually get to know everyone, large enough that you're not stuck with the same two people. Real conversations, and connections that last well beyond the trip.

❋ The Experience

Not a camp. A mix of group and individual sessions with PGA instructors who actually know how to teach beginners. Proper coaching, enough personal attention to progress, and half days on the course. The rest is yours.

❋ What You Leave With

Nine holes on a real course. Your first proper scorecard. But mostly the ability to say yes the next time golf comes up, and mean it.

Day by Day

  • Arrive at your hotel, settle in. Da Nang does the rest. In the evening, the group gathers for a welcome dinner. You'll meet everyone and set the tone for the week, relaxed, open, no pressure.

  • Your introduction to golf. Morning session on the fundamentals: grip, posture, and your first real swings. Afternoon on the driving range, putting it together without the pressure of a full course. You don't need to know what you're doing. You just need to show up.

  • A deeper morning session, swing, short game, and personal coaching moments. Then the afternoon is yours entirely. Explore the destination, rest by the pool, or book a massage.

  • Morning session combining technique and course awareness: refining your swing while starting to think about club selection, distances, and how to approach a hole. The shift from hitting shots to actually playing golf. Afternoon is yours.

  • No golf today. A full day curated around where you actually are. This is where the group bonds deepen, outside of sport. Evening free.

  • Morning: final adjustments, clarity, quiet preparation. You'll refine your swing and start to feel ready. Afternoon: games, challenges, on-course situations that help you feel comfortable in real play. This is where things start to click.

  • Your milestone day. You step onto the course for a coached 9-hole round in small groups, with your coach beside you. No pressure to perform. Only encouragement and the satisfaction of seeing how far you've come. Afterwards, the group comes together for a final dinner and a proper celebration.

  • A slow morning. Farewell breakfast. Departures. You leave knowing how to play, and knowing you'll play again. Airport drop-off.
